Also known as Medigap plans, they are a type of private insurance plan that can work alongside your Original Medicare coverage to help cover some out-of-pocket Medicare costs such as copayments, coinsurance and deductibles.
Prescription Plans
Also know as Medicare Part D, Medicare Part D provides prescription drug coverage for Medicare enrollees. Part D plans are offered by private insurers, not the federal government.
Meet Anna Sampere
Anna Sampere is a local, licensed independent Insurance Agent and owner of Total Healthcare Benefits. As an independent broker, Anna assists people going on, or already on, Medicare with comparing the various Medicare plan options in an unbiased way and in a centralized place.
Anna works with all the major local companies and serves hundreds of clients in the New Orleans regional area. Her position as an independent agent and extensive experience specializing in this field give her the unique ability to help others navigate the Medicare program.
Early in her career, she saw firsthand how turning a certain age to qualify for Medicare was already a life changing event for seniors and wanted to make sure she did everything possible to make the Insurance part of retirement easy. Over the past 20 years, this goal has transformed into her life’s passion. She left a major National carrier after almost 20 years of service to build her own agency to put her Clients first!
Anna was born and raised in Louisiana and has been living in New Orleans for the past 20 years. She is married with two beautiful children – Amelia and Emerson.
